SMT is one of the leading german manufacturers of instruments for implanting and explanting Implants in the sector of the spine and the general bone surgery. Our customers value our special instruments for holding, bending, cutting and fixing of implants. Since the company was founded in 1996, we have produced around 1000 different instruments, whereat 30 % thereof are SMT Standard instruments and 70 % thereof are OEM products. We can count the most common businesses in this industry to our customers. We support them with our technical Know How in the development of new instruments in which changed and lawful requirements and wishes of international admitted experts can be considered. By developing new products, we take care of user-friendliness, function and design.

In collaboration with universities and institutions, SMT develops new products and operationskills in the sector of human- and veterinary medicine.
