OEM-MANUFACTURING

We manufacture on latest CNC-milling machines milling parts from 5x5x5 mm to 1550x500x500 mm. Conditioning with 3 or 4 axial, with and without robot handling, are standard in our company. On special machines, which were developed and produced at SMT, we make special processes of machining like drill-tip-production of K-Wires and Steinmann Pins.

We deal with all well-established materials to the point of hardest free-cutting special alloy.

Our CNC-turning machines can manufacture parts from 2 mm to 200 mm of a rod or as insert with and without milling and back side conditioning.

Several wire eroding machines make sure that extensive outlines can be produced fast and exact on short runs without waiting long for special tools for millinproduction.

By the use of our own laser cutting machine for sheet thicknesses of 2,5 mm, we have the flexibility to react rapidly and without difficulty to new products or changes of the outlines. Thereby we can save a lot time, especially in the development sector.

Our stock includes the stocking of separate basic materials from diverse dimensions of the raw materials like mild steel, stainless steel and special alloy.

Standard parts will be partly prefabricated on stock to achieve faster delivery times.

The surface processing in our company includes acts like slide grinding (multi-chamber-action), belt grinding work, matting and polishing functions as like as blasting proceedings with different blasting materials (ceramic, glass perls to the point of aluminium oxide). Furthermore the anodic oxidation of titanium takes place in our new and modern designed anodic oxidation room.

Instruments will be assembled, checked and controlled in our assembling. The medical instruments will be controlled to their function to 100 %.

From prototype over short runs up to large orders, all instruments will be assembled by SMT. A huge in-house production depth assures short delivery times.
